National Cancer Institute Smoking Quit Line
The National Cancer Institute offers a free telephone program to help smokers set a quit date and create a personal quit plan. The number for the Smoking Quit Line is 1-877-44U-QUIT (1-877-448-7848). Smokers who call also receive an information kit on the health benefits of quitting.
